This article contains some discussion about one of most famous effects in quantum mechanics, the Ramsauer-Townsend effect. But this time, this effect has been studied in a q-deformed formalism of quantum mechanics. After introducing a q-deformed version of quantum mechanics, we will study the Ramsauer-Townsend effect and obtain some results which show how q-deformation can affect the Ramsauer-Townsend effect. Furthermore, this effect has been simulated by using a double Dirac delta potential in a q-deformed version of quantum mechanics.
