Virial theorem and generalized momentum in quaternionic quantum mechanics

After a review on recent results on quaternionic quantum mechanics (), we present further consistency tests that reinforce its compatibility with the usual complex quantum mechanics. The novel results comprise the virial theorem, the quantum quaternionic Lorentz force, the existence of a quaternionic magnetic monopole and the redefinition of the expectation value.
