Abstract
After a review on recent results on quaternionic quantum mechanics (
), we present further consistency tests that reinforce its compatibility with the usual complex quantum mechanics. The novel results comprise the virial theorem, the quantum quaternionic Lorentz force, the existence of a quaternionic magnetic monopole and the redefinition of the expectation value.
