Inspired by the recent precise data of the processes in the timelike region, I present the electric and magnetic form factors (EMFFs) of the spin
low lying
,
and
hyperons
. The phenomenological calculations have been performed in the chiral constituent quark model (
CQM) which has been successful in describing the internal structure and dynamics of the nucleon. The model takes into account the explicit contributions from the valence quarks, sea quarks and sea orbital angular momentum. The magnetic form factors are further parameterized in terms of a dipole form to study the incorporation of
phenomenologically. I have also computed the “effective” form factors of the hyperons
which are derived from the total integrated cross section of
from Babar, CLEO-c and BESIII experiments.
