We examine the thermal and hysteresis behaviors of the triangular nanowire with core/shell structure, within an effective field theory, in the mixed spins- Ising model with a crystal-field interaction. The thermal behavior of the total magnetization to obtain the compensation temperatures and to characterize the type of compensation behavior is investigated by three different thermal series, namely core/shell interaction, shell interaction, and crystal field. We also calculate the hysteresis curves depending on the temperature, crystal field, and core–shell interaction. According to the values of the parameters, the system presents different compensation behaviors. Moreover, multiple hysteresis loops exist in the system.
