The M-polynomial is used to evaluate the degree-based topological indices of chemical compounds in chemical graph theory. These outputs can further enable us to associate the compounds and their properties as well as bioactivities. Our main purpose in this article is the evaluation of the general form of M-polynomial for generalized windmill graphical structures. The analysis of the surface plots of the degree-based topological indices through M-polynomial of two types of the generalized windmill graphical structures using Mathematica software has been given in details. It is noted that the Hyper Zagreb index (Hyp) and the Forgotten index (F) are always greater in comparison with the other indices Then, we used these results for some of the octane isomers systems to give the numerical and graphical comparisons. In particular, we obtained the correlation coefficients of three different physiochemical properties of the associated structures. It is shown that the Alb-index and SDD-index give strong correlation for the DHVAP and HVAP properties of the considered octane isomers.
