In this work, we study the generalized Jaynes-Cummings model for a large class of solvable potentials. We first try to make the generalized Jaynes-Cummings Hamiltonian in terms of the master function representation of the second-order differential equation of mathematical physics, and then solve it by shape-invariant and supersymmetric properties of solvable potentials. We also obtain the spectra of system in the master function formalism. At the end of the work, we solve the model for the five-parameter exponential-type potential too, and for different cases of parameters, we obtain the spectrum for the solvable potentials by the supersymmetric method.
