In this work, axially quadrupole–octupole deformations model is constructed with a generalized Davidson trigonometric potential (AQOA-GD) and parametric Nikiforov–Uvarov method. Analytical expressions for energy spectra with their wave functions and matrix elements of electric transitions are derived. These results are used to generate the nuclear spectrum of and
isotopes which are known to be situated close to the regions between octupole vibrations and octupole deformation. Calculated results are then compared with the experimental data and similar theoretical models such as the original Davidson potential labelled AQOA-D and sextic potential labelled AQOA-S.
