We investigate the non-Gaussianity of two-mode entangled squeezed-coherent state by using an improved non-Gaussianity measure. It shows that the coherent amplitude and squeezing degree of two-mode entangled squeezed-coherent state have a distinct contribution to its non-Gaussianity. We also present a protocol of entanglement swapping based on two-mode entangled squeezed-coherent state. We can obtain two different classes of entangled states: two-mode entangled squeezed states and two-mode entangled coherent states, with the help of an intermediate partner. Finally, we discuss some practical implementation issues of our swapping scheme.
