A novel sensitive surface plasmon resonance-based photonic crystal fiber sensor with two analyte channels and wide detection range is suggested. These channels offer a semi-Bragg condition where the effects of channels materials on the sensor response are explored and the two peaks trend of the confinement loss curve is investigated using the finite element method. For the analyte refractive index range of 1.30–1.36, the suggested sensor presents suitable sensor evaluating factors and displays the highest values of wavelength sensitivity and figure of merit as 17,000 and 1300
. Due to its promising sensing characteristics, the proposed sensor is a proper platform for bio samples detection.
