Studies on the third-harmonic generations in a quantum ring with magnetic field

The influence of temperature and hydrostatic pressure on the third-harmonic generation (THG) coefficient of the tuned quantum ring is studied theoretically. We derive the expressions of energy level, wave function and nonlinear optical THG coefficient. Numerical simulation shows that the THG coefficient resonance peak position appears redshift or blueshift when the physical parameters change. In addition, the peak of the THG coefficient will also change under the influence of these parameters.
