Motivated by recent LHCb results, we have investigated decays in non-universal Z′ models and in a model-independent way. Here, different decay observables such as branching ratio, longitudinal lepton polarization asymmetry and lepton flavour universality (LFU) ratios are studied using three scenarios (S1, S2 and S3) in Z′ models and two scenarios [(i) and (ii) for the -channel; (i) and (ii) for the -channel] in a model-independent approach. Combining these model-independent new physics (NP) scenarios, we have structured NP WCs (Wilson coefficients) and NP WCs scenarios to predict LFU ratio From the -channel, our estimated branching ratios using these two scenarios for and for ) are close to the experimental result . We have predicted the value of in the range 0.23 to 0.81 which is not measured experimentally so far.
