In the presence of a vortex magnetic wiggler field, a scheme to create a twisted terahertz wave through a plasma was proposed. The radially polarized twisted terahertz radiation induced by the beating of two Gaussian lasers in a magnetized plasma channel was analytically investigated. The ponderomotive force due to laser beams imparted an oscillatory velocity to the electrons which led to a nonlinear current density that excited the terahertz radiation. Employing a twisted azimuthal magnetic wiggler field, the terahertz radiation became twisted. In fact, that wiggler field induced the vorticity of the terahertz waves. With the scheme, the terahertz wave was also radially polarized. The effects of the frequency of the twisted azimuthal magnetic wiggler field and the amplitude of density ripple on the terahertz radiation were considered.
