The extended (2+1)-dimensional Burgers-type system is firstly constructed. The variable u is solved after introducing the traveling wave transformation, which includes D’Alembert-type wave solution. Then, the residual symmetry is presented and localized for this equation, and its finite transformation of the Lie point symmetry is obtained. Subsequently, one explicit solution is derived from an initial solution. Further, the multiple residual symmetries and n-th Bäcklund transformation are obtained. These conclusions contain the soliton solutions, in which exist their molecule structures. These features are all shown in the figures.
