The ceramic compounds are widely used because of their unique features. Currently, the strontium-doped manganese spinel ferrites were obtained by using sol/gel method. The chemical formula of prepared samples was written as Mn1-xSrxFe2O4. The dopant concentration varies as 0.00, 0.20, 0.40, 0.60, 0.80 and 1.00. Cubic structure was detected through XRD investigation. Structural parameters were changed with involvement of Sr ions. Lattice constant increased while density values and porosity were reduced. The dc resistivity and the activation energy were enhanced with Sr ion addition. The samples possessed semiconducting nature as their resistivity declined with rise in temperature. The coercivity and magnetization values varied oppositely. The dielectric study was completed within the frequency range of 3–1 MHz. Higher dc resistivity and lower dielectric loss of current samples recommended their usage in large frequency appliances.
