In the paper, the performance of space thermoradiative cell (TRC) considering economic index is studied. The economic index is exergoeconomic performance. Firstly, the case of black-body radiation between the TRC and space is investigated. Then, the case of non-black-body radiation is further considered. The curves of profit rate versus heat efficiency of the TRC are obtained. The results show that the price ratio, the temperature of the absorber and the bandgap energy are important factors affecting the economic performance of the TRC. It can provide theoretical guidelines for the TRC research and application considering economic index.
