Detailed study of the masses of ground, orbitally and radially excited states of -meson
,
in the framework of screened potential model with the Gaussian wave-function is done in the present article.
correction to the potential energy term and relativistic correction to the kinetic energy term
is incorporated in the Hamiltonian. The spin-hyperfine, spin-orbit and tensor interactions incorporating the effect of mixing are employed to obtain the pseudoscalar, vector and radially and orbitally excited meson masses. The Regge trajectories in
and
planes are constructed, which help in associating some excited states observed in various experimental facilities to
-meson family. Various properties like mixing parameters, decay constant, leptonic decay widths and corresponding branching ratios, as well as electromagnetic transition widths are also calculated.
