In a paper recently published in the European Physical Journal Plus, the author comments on a previous paper published by the European Physical Journal C about Sagnac effect. The author has clearly misinterpreted the paper. I don’t think that this is because of an apparent typo in the Coriolis force, but I think that it is because of some physical concepts that are only implicitly expressed through mathematical calculations. Therefore, I would like to emphasize that I don’t think the author said invalid things, but his considerations are not related to the physical meaning of the paper he wants to analyze.
