This paper is devoted to understanding the effects of modification of gravity on some dynamical features of the Szekeres model (SM). The physical characteristics of matter content and kinematical quantities with respect to tilted and non-tilted reference frames are discussed. In the presence of f (R) gravity corrections, the non-radiative and radiative nature of SM have been observed for the observers moving with non-tilted and tilted congruences, respectively. The importance of congruences of matter world lines in the appearance of vorticity factor has also been studied.
