In this work, we calculate the mass spectra and decay properties of dimesonic states in the variational scheme. The Hellmann potential plus one pion exchange potential (OPEP) are considered for inter-mesonic interaction. The mass spectra of the , D

bound states are calculated and some of them are compared with experimentally observed states like X(3872),
,
and
. In order to relate calculated molecular structures to experimental states, we obtain their decay properties which are sensitive to their long and short distance structure. Moreover, the radiative decay for the state X(3872) into
and
is also calculated and the ratio is found to be the tenth of the experimental value, whereas the other decay modes are in accordance with other theoretical and experimental results. This result indicates that X(3872) is not a pure molecule. However, some of the calculated decay results suggest that it may have a dominant molecular component in its wave function. In addition to these states, we also calculate the mass spectra for various dimesonic combinations but there are not sufficient experimental data available for comparison, thus we provide an open window for experimental physicists.
