Numerical study of forced convective power law fluid flow through an annulus sector duct

This study investigates the forced convection flow of power law fluid through an annulus sector duct. The governing dimensionless form of momentum and energy equations is discretized by using a control volume-based method. Numerical solutions of the system of algebraic equations are obtained for different values of flow behaviour index, n, both for shear thinning fluids () and shear thickening fluids (). Results for the quantities of interest both for the fluid flow and forced convection are discussed numerically and graphically for different values of n.
