This article analytically investigates the peristaltic transport of a Newtonian fluid between two deformable coaxial tubes. Both the inner tube (endoscope) and the outer tube have sinusoidal waves travelling down their walls with different amplitudes and phases. This transport is studied under low Reynolds number and long wavelength approximations to obtain the expressions of the axial pressure gradient and the axial velocity profile. The effects of phases difference, amplitude ratio of the inner tube, amplitude ratio of the outer tube and the radius ratio on the pressure gradient, pressure rise, frictional forces, velocity field and on the mechanical efficiency are graphically discussed.
