The objective of this paper is to study the influence of a magnetic field on the peristaltic transport of a Jeffrey six-constant fluid in an asymmetric channel. Flow analysis is performed in the wave frame of reference moving with velocity c on non-conductive channel walls. A numerical solution to the problem is obtained by applying the shooting method. Also, expressions for pressure rise, stream function, magnetic force function and induced magnetic field are analyzed for various values of flow parameters.
